When choosing a hotel, check the places you will visit often during your trip as well as the room price. The transport conditions to check depend on whether you will go back and forth between Han Market and the riverside, head to the beach often, or rest at a resort and go out from there.

1. First decide where you will go often and when you will come back
Mark the places you plan to visit on a map, then look at the round trip to and from the hotel. The ‘What to check when planning’ column below is OTI's editorial guidance based on official location information, not a measurement of actual travel times or satisfaction.

2. Hilton Da Nang: plan the Han River area and Han Market visits together
The official address is 50 Bach Dang St, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang. The hotel highlights its Han River views, and its location information lists Han Market at 0.5 km, Da Nang beach at 4.1 km and Da Nang Airport at 4 km. According to the official information, no airport shuttle is provided. Check separately how you will get to the hotel at your arrival time. If you plan both Han Market and riverside activities and beach visits, it is a good idea to also check the route back to the hotel from each destination.
3. Four Points: plan My Khe Beach visits and city trips separately
The official address is 118–120 Vo Nguyen Giap street, An Hai Ward, Danang. Marriott describes the hotel as near My Khe Beach and lists the distance to Da Nang Airport as 6 km. It explicitly states that there is no airport shuttle. Marriott official location and airport information
Do not assume from the description ‘near the beach’ alone that your room connects directly to the beach. Check the actual route from the hotel entrance to the beach, whether you need to cross a road, and the walking needs of the people travelling with you. For city visits such as Han Market, decide on transport separately from your beach plans.
4. Grandvrio Ocean: tell it apart from the City hotel and check the shuttle
Grandvrio Ocean Resort Da Nang and Grandvrio City Danang are different hotels. The official hotel list of the operator, Route Inn, also lists the two hotels separately. Check that your booking confirmation and your vehicle's destination say ‘Ocean Resort’. Operator's official hotel list
The official Ocean site lists a free shuttle to Da Nang and Hoi An. The linked timetable states that you cannot board without a reservation, and the shuttle does not run if no one has booked. There is also a condition to wait in the lobby on time. Do not confuse the two hotels as the same place just because the City hotel appears in the timetable. This information alone does not mean a free airport transfer is included. Check with the hotel the timetable's effective dates, reservation deadline, seats, pick-up and drop-off points, and the return trip after your outing. 5. Check airport transfers and outings in this order
- Arrival date and time: Distinguish your flight's arrival time from the time you will leave after collecting your baggage. Check the pick-up waiting conditions for late arrivals or delays.
- Vehicle and fare: Check in the quote whether the vehicle suits your group size and luggage, whether it is one-way or round trip, and whether there are extra costs such as tolls or waiting fees.
- Round-trip route: Check the place, time and reservation conditions for the return trip as well as the outbound trip. Also think about other transport options in case you cannot use the shuttle.
- Hotel identification: Give the driver the exact English name of the hotel you booked and the location the hotel has confirmed. Do not choose another property with a similar name as your destination.
This article does not look up taxi fares, live traffic or shuttle seats. Apart from the official distances, check the current route before you set off.
6. Once your route is set, check price records for the same dates
